Ein schönes Wochenende dann noch : Have a nice weekend

Samstag:

MAILBOX.. grossartig.

Also Nummer von Win-Admin Nummer1 gewählt - nimmt keiner ab. Also Nummer 2 anrufen - das gleiche Spiel. Nach 5 min nochmal Nummer 1 angerufen. Nix.

Also log-Files checken.

Sonntag:
13:00 - 16:00 Programmieren....
20:00 - 23:30 Programmieren....

Hatte ich nicht um etwas gebeten?

Saturday:

0:30 - 1:00 am A User from HSS called and said, that he can't login into the windowsbased packagingsystem. Well, one of my favorite hotlinecases: locked out windows accounts. I'm not a member of the windows administrators group so I don't have a domain password to do the three clicks to unlock the account. Great thing was, what the user said, when said good-bye. He said, that then the people who will come in the morning have to take care about that and that he doesn't need the system that much for today.
Great, it was just my sleep. Besides, I would had loved it to have to kick out a windows admin out of his bed.

10:00 - 11:15 am A User from DZB calls and tells me, that all of his permissions in the warehouse managment system. Ok, the good thing was, that it's iSeries and not Windows. The bad: I'm not much involved into the WMS. Called a colleague who nearly lives inside the WMS.... Mailbox.. great. Ok, now I'd call the responsible for that project. He told me, that we now have extended support by the vendor of the WMS and that I can call them also on weekend. Well, now I spoke with a guy, who was in the same shitty situation as I was. Anyway, at least we sorted out the problems.

11:45 - 12:00 am Again some one from HSS and what was his Problem? Right, the global Windoze-Login. I put him off, that he will be called back by a Windows-Admin within the next few minutes. So, I called Win-Admin A... noone picked up. Tried Win-Admin B... the same. Waited for 5 minutes and tried A again.. no luck. Called back the guy from HSS and told him, that it maybe takes a bit longer. Another attempt to reach one of the windoze admins..nothing. 2 Minutes later A called back. Told him the case and I was outta it

3:15 - 4:30 pm Customer called and told me, that a carrier didn't received the data which should be forwarded from us to him. Okie, that's on the ApplicationServer, kinda of my world. Checked for errors and found out, that the customer had send us two XML-files with invalid characters. Corrected them, reprocessed them, boom... everything was fine. Called back the customer and told him. Pardon me? They didn't get ANY data at all over the whole day? Are you serious? Ok, examined the log files. Everything looked good, at least for us. Told the customer, that everything seems to be fine on my side, he replied that he will check his side. Okeeeee.......

7:00 - 11:00 pm Programmed for a project that has to be done on monday

Sunday:
1:00 - 4:00 pm Programmed
8:00 - 11:30 pm Programmed

Didn't I asked for something?
