Warum müssen eigentlich manche Leute, die mit anderen Leuten in den USA telefonieren (und nebenbei schlechtes Englisch an den Tag bringen) jeden Satz der gegenseite mit einem dicken "yeeaaah" beantworten?

Why does some (german) people, who phone with other people from USA, have to acknowlege every sentence with "yeeaaah"?
